Last month YouTube “XXII” shared a lot of short clips from Grand Theft Auto 6 on Unreal Engine 5. These short clips look really incredible. Therefore, we decided to collect most of them and share them in one big article.
Of course, these fan videos… fan videos. They are not meant to be compared to a leaked GTA 6 video (or the actual game at launch).
To be fair, “XXII” managed to capture the GTA aesthetic. So that’s a big plus in my book. Again, these are fan videos, so don’t get too carried away with them. As far as we know, XXII is not going to publish any demo versions of the project.
Finally, speaking of Unreal Engine 5, we recommend checking out these other fan-made remakes. Right now you can download the Superman UE5 demo, Halo 3: ODST Remake and Spider-Man UE5 demo. Additionally, these videos feature Resident Evil, Star Wars KOTOR, and Counter-Strike Global Offensive in UE5. In addition, you can find Portal Remake and NFS3 Remake. Finally, here are Half-Life 2 Fan Remastered, World of Warcraft Remastered, Skyrim Remastered, GTA San Andreas Remastered, Doom 3 Remastered, Zelda Ocarina of Time Remastered, God of War Remastered and GTA IV Remake.

Prior to founding DSOGaming, John worked for many gaming sites. Although he is an avid PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved and still loves 16-bit consoles and considers the SNES one of the best. However, the PC platform gave it an advantage over consoles. This is largely due to 3DFX and proprietary graphics card Voodoo 2, designed for 3D acceleration. John is also the author of a thesis on “The Evolution of Computer Graphics”.
